This is a printed illustration of Fastnet Lighthouse in County Cork, Ireland, one of the Great Irish Lighthouses in breathtaking locations around the Irish Coast.
Fastnet is known as "Ireland's Teardrop", because it was the last part of Ireland that 19th-century Irish emigrants saw as they sailed to North America.
The lighthouses illustrated in this set are located along The Wild Atlantic Way and Ireland’s Ancient East.
Providing beacons of security to sea-farers over the centuries these weatherproof icons are a treasured part of Ireland’s history.
If you can’t manage a visit that you can come close with this lovely print, bringing a bit of their rugged romance into your home or office with an illustrated print.
