Yes you're right, to include this drawing as part of the series of illustrations of Irish garden birds might be stretching it. Technically, the artist Bex Shelford, might not have observed this particular bird from her garden in South County Dublin, but you see it's a penguin and a small one at that... so it can't be left out.
Bex's drawings are printed with the highest quality giclée printing technique to ensure bright and vibrant colour using archival standard non-fading ink. Each print has the Irish and English for Penguin - Poingain and is personally hand signed.
It would make a lovely gift for anyone with a love of penguins (who doesn't?) and the Irish language.
It can be purchased either:
Mounted on bright white mount with a hard backed board (23cm x 23cm)
OR framed in a slate grey high quality Irish made wooden frame (26cm x 26cm)
